Eden’s Semilla: 100% Pure Jojoba Oil.

I recently received Eden’s Semilla 100% Pure Jojoba Oil and have been using it for the past two weeks. This is a completely honest review of the product and if you like the sound of the product I will leave a link at the end to where you can buy it.

Eden’s Semilla‘s Jojoba Oil is a 100% natural and organic product with a close resemblance to human sebum which we naturally produce through our skin glands. As a result of this, it is incredible as a moisturiser, not only for your face, but your skin, hair and nails. Due to it being all natural this product is suitable for those with sensitive skin, as well as those with dry and combination skin types.

Oils have always made me feel a bit uneasy as they are mostly associated with greasiness and being a nuisance. However, I have had nothing but a wonderful experience with this particular oil. For starters, this product isn’t greasy at all; it is extremely absorbent and soaks into your skin quickly. I also love that the product comes with a dropper which makes using the product much more convenient as you can ensure you get out exactly how much of the product you want to use.

One of my favourite things about this product is the fact that it is so versatile. Jojoba oil is perfect for your hair, skin and nails. In terms of hair, I like to mix two-three drops of the oil into my conditioner. I find the combination of the two working together makes my hair feel so soft and healthy and prevents the ends from going dry or split.

I also like using this product on my skin. As someone with dry skin I have found this oil really effective at keeping it nourished and looking plumper and I have had no problems with my skin since using it. I tend to use this by putting two-three drops on my fingers and rubbing them together, then applying it straight onto the face after having washed it, concentrating on areas I struggle more with dryness. Another way I like to use this on my skin is by mixing three drops in with my body lotion as my arms do get very dry and again, I’ve only had positive results as a result of doing this.

Jojoba oil bottleThe final way I use jojoba oil is possibly my favourite way. I have a passion for nail art, therefore taking care of my nails is very important to me. What I do is put a drop of the jojoba oil spread over my nails and cuticles and rub it in to ensure that the product gets everywhere. You really do not need a lot of this product, a little goes a long way, especially over such a small area and the oil is fast at soaking in and hydrating the nail, the cuticle and the skin around it so you don’t need to worry about transferring the oil onto anything you touch. Another thing I’ve noticed since using the Jojoba oil is that it has helped my nails grow.

Now I know like myself, a lot of you care about how some products smell, so one more thing I would like to point out about this oil is the scent. It has a really lovely, almost lemony, citrus-y scent. It’s difficult to describe exactly, but it is really pleasant!

Overall, I really love this product and will be getting plenty of use out of it in the future. Everywhere I have used this product has provided me with really impressive results. My hair, skin and nails have been feeling so much healthier and hydrated than ever before and I would definitely recommend Jojoba oil to anyone suffering with any kind of dryness or dullness, well, anywhere.
