Spring is generally the month in which everything gets lighter; the sky, the clothes and even the makeup. Since basically September I have been favouring the darkest possible lip colours and then a bit more recently nudes. However, now that we are in March, the pinky-nude shades and corals are taking my fancy and I’m not just talking about on the lips.

Books I Want To Reread.

“If one cannot enjoy reading a book over and over again, there is no use in reading it at all.” – Oscar Wilde. (I cannot remember if I have used this quote before or not – you’ll see throughout this post that I have a pretty terrible memory – but it seemed relevant for this post.)

I have always been a big lover of reading and this stems back to as far as I can possibly remember. As a result I have read a lot of books and have lots of books I would love to reread whether this be because I loved them so much, or because I cannot actually remember how I felt about the book.

Christmas Wishlist.

Harry Potter IllustratedIt’s that time of year again where people all around us are breaking out the Christmas music and the Christmas decorations to prepare for that special day. I like Christmas, but I am not the most Christmassy person. I feel more Christmassy this year and I think that this is largely due to being a part of the blogging community because we’re getting to that stage now where there are Christmas posts left, right and centre.

My Bucket List.

“Bucket list: a number of experiences or achievements that a person hopes to have or accomplish during their lifetime.”

I believe that a bucket list is never complete because as you go through life you are always finding new experiences which you want to experience for yourself. Furthermore, over time your choices change. When I was younger I would never have considered going to London to see a show, but now I want to see them all. When I was younger, I didn’t know what Holi, the festival of colour and a major festival in India, was, but guess what, it’s on my bucket list. This doesn’t mean that a bucket list can never be completed, but it can always be added to and I know that over the years I shall definitely be adding to my bucket list, but hopefully crossing lots off too.
