Welcome to Day Seven of Potter Week!
Is it really the final day? The final book?
While you may argue that Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is the eighth book, I don’t take it into account. To me, Cursed Child is completely separate regardless of how I feel about it. This is because the events of the main seven books occur one after the other and are consistent in that way and are clearly focused on Harry. Meanwhile, Cursed Child takes place approximately two decades later and the main focus is supposed to be Albus.
Anyway, back on track, let’s talk about Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows!
The scene with Neville on the bridge at the Battle of Hogwarts, the seven Harry’s, Harry using the resurrection stone to speak with James, Lily, Sirius and Remus, Harry destroying the elder wand… Oh wait, did you mean just one favourite scene?
Favourite trio moment:
Breaking into and escaping Gringotts.
I love when Ron returns thanks to the deluminator and the trio are reunited.
I mean, this is basically Harry’s signature spell and it’s always worked well for him.
The Gringotts Goblins.
I wish I had a job where I basically got to ride a roller-coaster several times a day in order to take people to their vaults; sounds kind of fun!
“Do not pity the dead, Harry. Pity the living, and, above all those who live without love.”
So, that’s the end of Potter Week! I really hope that you have all enjoyed Potter Week and if you missed any posts they can be found here:
